Metepec Master Plan

Located in METEPEC, MEXICO, a two-hour drive west of Mexico City, “Parque Bicentenario” (Bicentennial Park) is a 200-acre sustainable master plan that features a municipal office center, residences, retail and entertainment facilities and an ecological park. Originally planned for Mexico’s 200 year independence anniversary. Designed as a self sustainable new urban development in efforts of decentralizing government functions from Mexico City, it blends nature with pedestrian connectivity and a water catchment reserve as a central attraction. It includes various types of housing, shopping centers, and cultural venues, as well as government offices and schools.
